Rudolf Diesel Medal
It is not the powerful who change the world, but innovations. And these are developed by people, not by corporations or institutions. The German Institute for Invention has made it its mission to actively support these people – and thereby automatically also Germany as an industrial and technology location. Because only by fostering an inventor- and innovation-friendly climate can we maintain and increase the competitiveness of the German economy.
A medal for the best: Since 1953, the Institute has awarded the Diesel Medal – Germany’s oldest innovation prize – and in this way honors figures in Germany who have not only demonstrated inventive spirit but have also proven the ability to successfully implement ideas entrepreneurially. Such successes have a signal effect for the entire economy and bring the topic of innovation into the focus of public interest.
WORDUP PR is deeply rooted in the German innovation scene and has advised clients such as the German Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office and the Patentpool Group. Award ceremonies have been successfully carried out, among others, for the Dr. Robert Pfleger Foundation (medical prize).
