The European Patent Office (EPO) offers inventors a single application procedure through which they can obtain patent protection in up to 40 European states. The Office is the executive body of the European Patent Organisation and is supervised by its Administrative Council.
Commissioned directly by EPO Presidents Dr h.c. Ingo Kober and Prof. Alain Pompidou, WORDUP PR supported the European Patent Office for more than seven years in media relations and public communications around innovation. The focus lay on internal communications, but the mandate also covered the „Inventor of the Year“ award, a range of press and public relations activity and event management — including the farewell reception for EPO President Prof. Alain Pompidou with 400 guests at the Allerheiligen Hofkirche in Munich.
