SimpliVity
Mittelstand communications for a tech start-up
The US start-up SimpliVity approached WORDUP PR to establish the benefits of hyperconverged solutions among German Mittelstand companies. At the time of the engagement the company was valued at around 100 million dollars. SimpliVity was one of the pioneers of hyperconverged infrastructure, which brings compute, storage and networking together in a single software-defined platform.
The aim was to make complex storage and virtualisation technology accessible to decision-makers in mid-sized companies and to show the efficiency gains of modern IT infrastructure in tangible terms. WORDUP PR translated the manufacturer’s technical expertise into well-founded content pitched at the right audience in the German-speaking market.
The project builds on many years of WORDUP PR experience with technology launches and international market entries. Firmly rooted in Germany’s innovation landscape and technically fluent, the agency regularly helps companies position technological innovation with Mittelstand audiences.
Alongside SimpliVity, WORDUP PR has advised many other clients in digitalisation and information technology, among them Network Appliance (NetApp), Payconiq and SHS Viveon AG.
