Skycop
Market entry for an air passenger rights specialist
Skycop represents air passengers and their right to compensation for disrupted flights under EU law, charging a commission only when a claim succeeds. Since it was founded in 2017, the company has handled European compensation claims worth 26 million euros.
Passengers anywhere in the world can file claims for cancelled, delayed or overbooked flights through the global online platform www.skycop.com. Skycop’s team, with more than ten years of experience across aviation, law and credit management, set out to redress the balance between airlines and passengers and to help those denied their rights.
WORDUP PR acted as the company’s external press office for its entry into the German, Austrian and Swiss markets, taking responsibility for all media relations activity. The agency also advised the business airline KlasJet, which likewise belongs to the Lithuanian parent group Avia Solutions Group.
The Munich agency was also responsible for the concept, build and upkeep of Skycop’s German website and for other text localisation work. WORDUP PR has covered tourism and air travel in further projects too, among them the opening of the extension at Hotel Kaufmann, the roll-out of the 728JET regional aircraft for Fairchild Dornier and work for the Bavarian aerospace supplier Aircraft Philipp.
